Recreational Soccer

This is a Coed recreational soccer program that is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high level competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport, and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game.

Note: Teams will be assigned by a blind draft to eliminate "stacking" a team and give all teams a fun experience. Requests are not guaranteed.

Divisions
Freshman: PreK4-K (soccer ball size 3)
Sophomore: 1st and 2nd Grade (soccer ball size 4)
Junior: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade  (soccer ball size 4)
Senior: 6th, 7th, and 8th grade (soccer ball size 5)

Spring Season: April-June (players receive uniform with registration) all players must have shin guards!

Fall Season August-October (players receive uniform with registration) all players must have shin guards!

Summer: Week Long Skills Camp run by soccer trainers 

All Star Game: Selected players will play in an All Star Game/Tournament at the end of each season

Practices – Practices will typically be 2-3 times per week prior to the first game.  Once games start your coach will add practices to fill in gaps between games and review skills.

Games –  Games are Monday thru Saturday.  Monday thru Friday games start at 5:30pm. Saturday games start at 9:30am.  We aim to play at least 12 games in a season, and will attempt to reschedule any canceled games to the best of our ability.

2024 Fall Recreational Soccer

Costs:
  • Freshman (Pre K - K) $100
  • Sophomore (1st-2nd Gr) $155
  • Junior (3rd-5th Gr) $165
  • Senior (6th-8th Gr) $165
  • Jersey, Shorts, and Soccer Socks included with registration costs

Sibling Discounts: $40 off the 2nd child's registration; $80 off the 3rd child's registration and each registration thereafter.
Late Registration Fee $75

Team assignments will be communicated to families by mid/late July. Practices are anticipated to start, based on field conditions, in the beginning of August and games will begin late August/early September. The season will conclude end of October.

Please note, requests for teammates are not guaranteed unless sibling/same household

We use the Game Changer App. Please make sure you have it downloaded to your phone/tablet. All schedules (games/practices/events) and team communication occur in this app.

Late Registration Fee $75

Fundraiser Mandatory Participation:
I understand and agree that in registering my child(ren) in the Tinley Park Bobcats programs, I will pay $80.00 at the time of registration and, in doing so; will be assigned 40 $2-tickets and may opt to either sell them to recoup my $80, or I may keep my unsold tickets and participate in the raffle.

The Tinley Park Bobcats is looking for interested coaches for the Spring 2023 season. Our organization is ran by 100% volunteers, and coaches are the most important component in the success of our program, It is a rewarding opportunity that makes a positive impact in the lives of the children in our community.
Our league relies on devoted adult volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. We are always looking for responsible and enthusiastic adults to lead our teams. As a volunteer coach, you should have an interest in the safety, well-being, and overall development of children.

*I understand and agree that in registering my child(ren) in the Tinley Park Bobcats programs I give my permission for Bobcats to take and use images/videos of my child(ren) to use in print or on Bobcats website/social media.
