In registering for or participating in the Tinley Park Bobcats tryout, participant understands that attending the programs and the facilities related to Tinley Park Bobcats does so at his own risk. The Tinley Park Bobcats shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever arising from any personal injury or property loss sustained by participant with his/her family in or about any programs on the premises. Participants and parents assume full responsibility for all injuries and damages which occur in or about any programs on the premises. He does hereby fully and forever release discharged hold harmless Tinley Park Bobcats, from any and all claims, demands, damages or rights of action, present or future resulting from any person’s participation in any programs or use of the facility.

Fall 2026 3-on-3 Basketball

2026 Fall 3 on 3 Basketball League

Bobcats have recieved great feedback and we are excited to bring 3 on 3 basketball back for another year.

Below are some details about the program starting late summer.

Registration begins in May and ends on July 10th. 
Program cost is $155.00 per player + $80.00 raffle tickets/fundraising for Bobcats organization
The registration fee will include reversible jersey, up to two practices a week and 6 weekends of games. 

Important dates and details of the League:

  1. There will be an evaluation date in late July that all players are asked to attend. 
  2. The League will start practices the week of August 3rd.
  3. The goal is to have four coed divisions: divisions will be determined after registration closes.
  4. Grades offered are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
  5. If your kindergarten age child is interested in playing basketball, please contact Michelle Matz at [email protected].
  6. The league will consist of 9 weeks; we will aim for two practices per week and games on Saturday.
  7.  Practice days and times are determined by volunteer coaches' availability. 
  8. The league will end the weekend of October 3rd.
  9. Please consider volunteering to coach, this is an all-volunteer program and parental participation helps to keep us moving forward. Coach Michelle will help with practice plans, share basketball resources and assist with this being a great learning experience for all involved. We will help you learn the basics and you will help to make more core memories with your child. 

*I understand and agree that in registering my child(ren) in the Tinley Park Bobcats programs I give my permission for Bobcats to take and use images/videos of my child(ren) to use in print or on Bobcats website/social media.

2026 Tinley Park Bobcats MAY 15th, 2026 REGISTRATION IS OPEN


Registration Dates are Now OPEN May 15th through July 21st!

  • We have partnered with NFL Flag Football where the focus of our program continues to center around instilling positive sportsmanship, player and teammate development and most importantly having FUN. We offer 4 divisions as follows: K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th and 6th-8th grade divisions. Our coaches are highly encouraged to give players the opportunity to rotate positions and share equal playing time.
  • Program Cost - $160 This Registration Fee will include one Custom NFL jersey with last name lettering on the back & flags which are both yours to keep. Shorts, socks and other accessories are OPTIONAL and available for purchase during the registration process.
  • We will run a 10 Week Season that will be comprised of 7 regular season games, 1 playoff/seeding game and a Super Bowl!
  • Practices to begin first week of August. The practice structure and locations are determined by your coaching staff.
  • Games begin Sunday August 16th, concluding Sunday October 18th.**We have one week baked in for Rain Makeup.
  • All games will occur on Sunday. Game times will change for your team from week to week, they will fall between 9am and 1pm start times.
  • Practice structures and times are dictated by your team coaching staff; expect at least 1 practice per week, with the possibility of more.
  • Game Field locations will be in Tinley Park @Freedom Park & Victor J. Andrew High School Stadium and the West Practice Field.
  • Player safety is a top concern for parents and for the Bobcat organization. In 2026 we will continue to offer helmets. You may order through the Bobcats for $38 or find a helmet elsewhere (Amazon, Dick's Sporting Goods...etc.). If you previously purchased a helmet through the Bobcats and it still fits your player then you may continue to use that helmet. Both a soft helmet (rugby type) AND a mouth guard are required to play.
  • There are many optional purchases through NFL Flag during the registration process such as team shorts, socks, wrist and headbands + other accessories. Players may wear any shorts, baseball / football pants as they prefer.
  • Please consider volunteering to Coach, Team Parent or League Manager. This is an all volunteer program and parental participation helps to keep us moving forward. We will help you learn the basics and you will help to make more core memories with your child!
  • Please note that we utilize offensive and defensive lines in this Flag league for K-1, 2-3 and 4-5 grade divisions, there is minor contact amongst the players as they develop blocking skills.
  • Back by Popular Demand! 6-8th grade division is converting to contactless flag play! No offensive or defensive line blocking at this level. 7 vs 7 Co-Ed league focused on Skilled Positions.

WELCOME TO BOBCATS TACKLE FOOTBALL

The Tinley Park Bobcats youth sports organization is excited to soon kick off our 3rd tackle football season in the fall of 2026. Our organization wants to offer growth opportunities for athletes who want a more competitive experience in tackle football, and an in-depth experience designed to strengthen an athlete’s skillset, as well as their understanding and appreciation for the game. Our mission is to transform an athletes’ football awareness into football intelligence, to build their strength, speed, reaction, power, and leverage, and to help them master the basic fundamentals of the sport; tackling, blocking, ball handling, and scheme. Our organization believes that wins and losses are outcomes, not goals, and our goals are centered around maximizing the individual potential of every athlete in our program. 

Built on the pillars of fellowship, sportsmanship, and diversity, the Southwest Midget Football League is the ideal league to help us carry out our mission. This year we will be opening up all four levels for registration. SWML levels start with widgets (6 - 9 yrs. old 107 lb. max), Pee Wee (8 - 11 yrs. old weight dependent), lightweight (9 - 13 yrs. old weight dependent) and varsity (11 - 14 yrs. old weight dependent) divisions. 13 yr. old athletes under 100 lbs. are allowed to "slide down" and compete on the Lightweight level. Registration will close on June 1st, and no refunds will be issued after April 15th. Below is a breakdown of the costs for participation:

Registration Fee - $450  (Payment Plan Available & cost includes $100 raffle ticket fundraiser fee)
Equipment Deposit Fee - $300 (returned/refunded at equipment return at the end of the season)

Fundraiser Mandatory Participation:
I understand and agree that in registering my child(ren) in the Orland Hills-Tinley Park Bobcats programs, I will pay $100.00 at the time of registration and, in doing so; will be assigned 50 $2-tickets and may opt to either sell them to recoup my $100, or I may keep my unsold tickets and participate in the raffle

All registrants will receive program communications through the winter and spring pertaining to skill camps, program parent meetings, equipment pickup, etc.
